We are looking for a talented filmmaker who is excited to help our community. You’ll work closely with the Multimedia Strategy Manager and assist in video production projects. This position is for someone who already knows how to produce video content and is excited to take their skills to the next level.

Who you are:
  • Video-Savvy: Experience with visual editing, effects, sound editing, and graphic design. You are at ease with video production and can quickly create content that is on-brand and follows instructions. You have a passion for content and also bring new creative ideas to existing formats! You work quickly and efficiently, often having a draft within 24 hours.
  • Independent: A self-starter mentality who is willing to wear many hats, sprint, find solutions, and learn independently. You must be able to manage your time and work without micromanagement. No problem meeting deadlines and handling constructive feedback.
  • Curatorial: You have an eye for great video, animation, and design. You want to learn about the latest trends and technologies. When you don't know something, you look it up and dive in!
  • A Student: Majoring in Video Production, Media Studies, Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Design, Business, or related majors
What you'll being doing:
  • Help edit & produce videos start-to-finish
  • Review & create storyboards
  • Gather raw footage and edit video for multiple platforms (ie. Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn)
  • Publish video content across channels, review performance and optimize formats
  • Pitch story ideas, trends, and collaborate as a part of our Creative Team

$10 an hour and/or college credit

Education Qualifications:

Current student, undergraduate or graduate

Experience and Software Qualifications:

Passion for videography and editing with knowledge in Adobe CC; specifically Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Illustrator. Bonus points if you have a background in/knowledge of/ animation and kinetic typography, have created an ad campaign (on IG, FB, or other), and/or have a background in DaVinci Resolve and color correcting

Physical requirements:

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to sit for extended periods, stand, walk, use hands and arms, talk, hear, and view a computer monitor for extended periods. Lifting up to 30+lbs occurs occasionally.
