This person will oversee the print magazine’s Community section, write articles for print and online, and oversee the creation of original content for the twice-weekly e-newsletter inRegister@Home. This role will be filled at either the writer or editor level, dependent upon experience level of the successful candidate. This is a full-time position (40 hours/week); the person holding the position must reside in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
B.A. degree in Journalism, English or other relevant field.
Strong writing, editing, organizational and interpersonal skills are a must. Familiarity with WordPress, Adobe InCopy, and DSLR photography is a plus.
